eCommerce

Selling without limits of time or distance

Electronic commerce, commonly known as e-commerce or eCommerce, is a type of industry where the buying and selling of products or services is conducted over electronic systems with no barriers of time or distance.  eCommerce draws on a wide range of technologies and typically uses the Web at least at one point in the transaction's life-cycle.

Chreos is loaded with eCommerce functionality.  Much of it comes as part of existing modules, plus there is provision via the EDI module to exchange data with other devices and applications that is almost limitless.

Examples of existing eCommerce functionality include

  • email financials invoices, statements, receipts, payment advice notices, etc. automatically and repeatedly.
  • email client order confirmations, supplier orders, backorder reports.
  • email overdue letters and focused marketing materials using Client Advanced reporting.
  • interaction with the bank.
  • aspects of our multi-branch system.
  • Remote data backups.
  • The PayFire gift voucher and card system.

Examples that come with the EDI module

  • Move data and transactions to and from websites.
  • Interact with Chreos ordering apps.
